MARANA, Ariz. – The second round of the Callaway Collegiate Match Play Championship has been suspended due to darkness. Only seven individual matches were completed and no overall team contests settled. The second round will continue at 8 a.m. Monday morning with the third round scheduled to begin at approximately 9:30. In the championship bracket, Southern California leads in two matches against Stanford with the Cardinal ahead in one and two others all square. Dustin Morris posted a 6 and 5 win to give a Colorado State a 1-0 lead against Iowa. Both teams lead in a match with the other two all square. San Diego leads New Mexico, 1-0, thanks to Gunner Wiebe’s 6 and 4 triumph. The Lobos lead in two matches, San Diego is ahead in a match and a match stands all square. Texas A&M holds a 1-0 advantage over UNLV after Jordan Russell’s 5 and 4 win and lead in all four remaining matches.
